Chicken Apple Sausage – An easy weekday dinner is something I love to do during the week. This Sheetpan Dinner of Chicken, Apple, and Sausage is as simple to prepare as it gets. When served with other seasonal favorites like sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts, it also makes the ideal fall supper. This is a great recipe to make when you need to put dinner on the table but don’t want to worry about it.
You know those evenings when you’re not sure what to do for supper when it finally arrives? Or perhaps you need to quickly prepare something that everyone will like because you’ve been rushing about all evening? This is where the sweet potato, chicken sausage, and Brussels sprouts sheetpan meal come in. Made entirely on one pan and cooked together, it doesn’t get any simpler than this! There are numerous kinds to choose from, so feel free to substitute your favorite chicken sausage!
This is a great choice for weekly meal prep as well! This is a terrific alternative if you want to divide it up into individual containers for a couple of lunches or dinners! It’s simple to reheat in the microwave, and depending on my mood, I can eat it hot or cold. To vary your taste, try serving it over greens with a different sauce, such as hummus, or sprinkle some homemade sauce, like the creamy jalapeño sauce below.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR CHICKEN APPLE SAUSAGE SHEETPAN DINNER:
- Sweet Potatoes
- Brussels Sprouts
- Chicken & Apple Chicken Sausage (or any of your favorites!)
- Avocado Oil Spray
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
- Garlic Powder
WHAT YOU NEED FOR CREAMY JALAPENO SAUCE:
- Roasted Jalapeno
- Plain greek yogurt
- Lime
- Cilantro
- Garlic clove
- Olive oil
- Sea Salt
- Black pepper

HOW TO MAKE THIS SHEETPAN MEAL:
- Start by preheating the oven. You want to place your sheetpan in the oven while it is preheating! This creates optimal roasting time for your veggies.
- Evenly chop up the sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts.
- In a large bowl, mix together sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts with avocado oil spray, sea salt, pepper and garlic powder. Make sure the veggies are evenly coated with the avocado oil spray.
- Lay those on the baking sheet. Be sure to give the veggies enough room
- Place in the oven to bake for 20 minutes. Flipping half way.
- Remove from the oven and add chicken sausage. Flip brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes.
- Place back in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
- Prepare jalapeño sauce for topping on veggies.
